Position Overview:
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the Narrow Textiles and OEM Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our products and solutions to our high-value accounts. This role requires a strong sales-driven individual with expertise in textiles, OEM manufacturing, Sports and Outdoor Products, and Military and a deep understanding of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) customer needs and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Manage a portfolio of new business and key accounts within the narrow textiles and OEM sectors, ensuring strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of each key account's unique business needs, goals, and challenges to position Wincord.com as a trusted partner.
- Foster new relationships and generate new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential markets.
2.Sales Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aimed at driving revenue growth, product adoption, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase account revenue and profitability.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and other performance metrics set by management.
- Work closely with the Leadership and Production Team to align on goals and strategies.
3.Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:
- Become an expert in Wincord’s range of narrow textiles and OEM solutions, understanding how they fit within various customer industries (automotive, fashion, healthcare, military, footwear and industrial applications, etc.).
- Consult with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored product solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to ensure product design, materials needs, and timely delivery.
4.Project Coordination & Customer Support:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring the seamless flow of information and the timely resolution of any issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (such as production, logistics, materials, and customer service) to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Support product development and innovation by gathering feedback from key accounts and identifying emerging customer trends.
5.Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and customer demands.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, opportunities, sales activities, and forecasting.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to the management team for strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Textile Engineering, or related field. Additional certifications or training in sales, military portals (dibbs & sams), or textiles is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1-2 + years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within the narrow textiles, OEM manufacturing, or related industries.
- Industry Knowledge: understanding of narrow textiles, OEM solutions, and related markets. Experience with textiles in automotive, fashion, healthcare, or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of business communication, generating new business, and achieving sales targets. Strong ability to sell solutions and build lasting customer relationships.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and priorities effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate at all levels of an organization.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity or willingness to learn the technical aspects of narrow textiles and OEM products. Ability to work with internal teams to develop products for clients’ needs.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client locations, trade shows, and industry events as needed. 4-6 times a year minimum.
